Join Midday for a daylong hybrid retreat of meditation, movement, music, & potluck to celebrate a decade of peer-led sangha. We’ll be meeting online and in person Wednesday, September 4th from 10am-4pm PT.
Please come for as little or as long as you’d like. As well as time for silent meditation, the morning will include Tai Chi and the afternoon will include dancing and chanting.
From 12-1:30pm we will meet in our usual Midday form (meditation and Dharma discussion). For those in person, this will include a potluck (may change based on current covid info).
NOTE: Zoom link provided after event registration.
We hope you’ll join us for any or all of our time together. If you have any concerns or questions, please reach out to us at middaysangha@eastbaymeditation.org.
May we all find some ease and peace today,
May we all experience well-being, safety and be protected from harm.
Gratitude for your practice, your presence, your generosity!

Cost
The teachings are regarded as priceless. So they are offered without a fee. You are invited to support the teachings and our efforts by contributing voluntary donations (the practice of “Dana”) for the expenses of the meditation center.
The ticket price is a suggested donation of $10 to the center and you may give more if you wish, or less if you are unable to give at this time.
Thank you for the gifts of your generosity and for supporting the work of East Bay Meditation Center and our beloved community.
For in-person participation:
For those wishing to practice in person, space will be limited to 60 people to allow ample space for social distancing. Participants will be asked to wear N95 or KN95 face masks. (N95 face masks will be available at EBMC.) Please note: The teacher may be unmasked while teaching.
To attend in person, you need to be completely free of fragranced body and clothing products — more information and a list of fragrance free products, including those that are especially good for people of color, appears on our website: https://eastbaymeditation.org/resources/fragrance-free-at-ebmc/
East Bay Meditation Center is a scent free / fragrance free space and is wheelchair accessible.
For Zoom participation, these are our Universal Access Guidelines:
– Please do not use virtual or blurred backgrounds
– Please keep your camera still when it’s turned on
– Please say your name when you speak
– Facilitators will attempt to read any comments in the chat out loud
– Please mute when you’re not speaking.
