HARVESTING HOPE
Re-launch of Afrikan Healing and Wisdom, EBMC’s Sangha for people of the Afrikan Diaspora, including biracial, multi-ethnic and white-adopted individuals.
It’s time to gather again in our Afrikan sangha. Time to celebrate, share stories, invoke our ancestors, and bear witness to the season. What have we harvested over this last summer? How are we bearing witness to these times? And, most importantly, how are we tending to our purpose and our healing? Join us with our special guest, Sudanese American poet, and writer, shah noor hussein.
We’ll use small and large group sharing, and music, meditation and mindfulness, to honor our memories, uplift our dreams and re-vision our future.
Bring something for the altar that represents what you’re harvesting and your hopes for the future.

Cost

The teachings are regarded as priceless. So they are offered without a fee. You are invited to support the teachings and our efforts by contributing voluntary donations (the practice of “Dana”) for the expenses of the meditation center and the support of the teachers.

The ticket prices are listed as different tiers with suggested donations based on income ranges. Please scroll through the entire menu to see all the options. For those who wish to give more, you may choose an “add-on” to your ticket. For those unable to give, there is an option for that.

Other ways to give:

To make a gift to sustain the work of East Bay Meditation Center, you may do so at bit.ly/ebmc-give 100% of our programming on a sliding scale and no one will ever be turned away for lack of funds.

Giving to our teachers:

Please also consider giving a financial gift to our teachers as well, who do not receive a salary for their work, and give their teachings freely to all. In this way, we practice sacred reciprocity between teachers and students.

VENMO: @Ariska-Razak

PAYPAL: arisikarazak@gmail.com

(Please reference “Afrikan Healing & Wisdom” and the teachers will share the gifts with each other)

Thank you for the gifts of your generosity and for supporting the work of East Bay Meditation Center and our beloved teachers who have volunteered their time.
