Tai Chi and Qigong – Embodying the Heart Qualities is a grounding, empowering practice that includes easy-to-learn, accessible mindful movements.
This moving meditation, co-led by Jenn Biehn and Arisika Razak (update: Rosetta Saunders is unable to teach), helps us bring balance and harmony within the body, heart, mind, spirit especially needed in these challenging times. This practice strengthens our ability to embrace and embody lovingkindness, courage, compassion, resilience, and equanimity… as we co-create together the vibrational energy needed for transforming our world.
Movements offered both seated and standing.
No prior experience necessary.
For in-person attendees, you’re also invited to stay at the center from 11am-12pm for optional socializing in our kitchen. We will have a potluck, please bring a snack to share if you are able!
For in-person participation:
For those wishing to practice in person, space will be limited to 60 people to allow ample space for social distancing. Participants will be asked to wear N95 or KN95 face masks. (N95 face masks will be available at EBMC.) Please note: The teacher may be unmasked while teaching.
To attend in person, you need to be completely free of fragranced body and clothing products — more information and a list of fragrance free products, including those that are especially good for people of color, appears on our website
