Everyday Equity is both a realization of and a path from power, love, and justice. This mindfulness-based daylong facilitates a process for awakening power, love, and justice; and draws from what matters (e.g., grace, gratitude, gravitas), through what’s difficult (e.g., hurt, healing, hope), to what’s possible (e.g., courage, compassion, connection). As an experiential workshop, this program includes practicing the use of tools, applying concepts, and reflecting through meditation, journaling, small groups and large group dialogue. The day will remind us of our loveliness – allowing us to contribute to community well-being by understanding and healing from harmful conditions toward transformative change. Instructions for meditation will be provided.
