What happens when we don’t awaken in this lifetime? We often talk of awakening, but we rarely turn our attention to the places where we get caught; when we are not inspired, when we are not living up to the vision of ourselves. How do we practice our awareness and kindness to the uncooked, imperfect aspects of our lives?
When we turn kindness to our challenges, we open our hearts to all of life. Awakening and not-awakening are the same experience because they are in this same lifetime. When we awaken to the possibility of non-awakening, we do not need to attach to either.
