A Four Class Series with Melvin Escobar
Mondays, September 14th, 21st and 28th 7:00 – 8:30PM PST
In the Buddhist teachings, the Three Poisons (greed, hatred, and delusion) are the primary causes of suffering. Arguably, these three poisons are more widespread than ever in our world. In this 3-week class series, we will explore these unwholesome roots of our unease and the potions, or antidotes, to these poisons. Through stationary and gentle moving meditation, interactive exercise, talks, and recommendations for home practice, we will use contemporary psychological frameworks, informed by an understanding of structural oppression, to transform the poisons and live a life of true happiness.
Registered participants will receive a link to join us via Zoom.
