The East Bay Meditation Center operates on a generosity-based "All-Dana" model. Dana is the ancient Pali language word describing generosity arising effortlessly from deep gratitude.
We encourage and rely on joyful generosity to be expressed in many different ways, as people are moved to give according to their resources and means.
As a Generosity-Based Center (no registration fees charged for events), EBMC relies on your generous support to bring ancient wisdom teachings to the diverse communities of the Bay Area. Please click here to learn more about the many ways available to support EBMC financially through tax-deductible donations. (EBMC is a tax-exempt 501(c)(3) non-profit organization.)
The EBMC relies heavily on Volunteers: community members who give their time to help operate the center. Many Volunteer Positions are available. Click here to find out more.
Have you ever volunteered for EBMC ? If so, you are invited to join the Path of Service Sangha, the Community of EBMC Volunteers, who gather from time to time for fun, appreciation, and sharing. Click here to find out more.
