Ancestors Welcome Here Practice Group is an in-person practice group, held at the East Bay Meditation Center (EBMC) in Oakland. We focus on ancestral healing as a foundation for social justice work. Facilitated by Ream, the program is specifically designed for self-identified white individuals looking to explore lineage, meditation, and repair.
The purpose of this refuge group is to provide a space for sex workers to connect with each other, build sangha, and to deepen our spiritual practices in community. Sex workers continue to be a marginalized group in society and this sangha is a place where we support each other in bringing our whole selves into our spiritual lives.

The Multiracial Deep Refuge Group is a monthly exploratory Deep Refuge Group for and by people who identify as multiracial. Our meetings include periods of mindfulness meditation and sharing of narratives and perspectives as we come together to be seen and to see one another.

Together we cultivate a special community space in the intersection of Filipinx/a/o identity + culture + history and Buddhist spiritual practice. We gather to support each other, heal, and walk the Dharma path.
Facilitated by Crystal Johnson, Sarah Emerson, Heather Lear, Kitsy Schoen and guests, the monthly sangha is an opportunity for white people to gather and discuss their dilemmas and successes in waking up to whiteness and making a difference in undermining white supremacy culture in all of its many manifestations, including in our sanghas. Our intention is to create a supportive space that allows us to do the hard and painful inner work that frees us to take action in the world.
Every Body Every Mind Sangha is a weekly practice group for people living with disabilities, limitations, differences and chronic illnesses. EBEM offers teachings, guided practices, and practical exercises to develop empathy, kindness, and altruism towards oneself and others.
