Sangha is where practice comes alive. Sunday Sangha is East Bay Meditation Center’s new weekly home for all generations to gather in person – to pause, practice, and cultivate real spiritual friendship (kalyana-mitta). If you're looking for a grounding Sunday ritual, an introduction to meditation and foundational Buddhist concepts, or a warm space to connect with community, our doors are wide open.
Each gathering centers a quiet or gently guided meditation, a Dharma reading with open-hearted community discussion, and time to linger over tea and light refreshments. If EBMC is already your spiritual home, or if you are stepping through our doors for the very first time, you belong here.
All are welcome. No prior meditation or experience with Buddhist practices is necessary. Come as you are.
Please note: parking meters in Oakland are free between 10am-12pm on Sundays!
