SUMMARY:Letting Go of the Past
DESCRIPTION:With Spring Washam\n \nLearning to let go and live in the moment is at the very heart of the spiritual path. Everything can be summed up into these two words\, “Let go”. We long for serenity but this only comes from making peace with the past. To transform our lives we have to be willing to say goodbye to the old chains and prisons\, and step into the light. We can learn to drop all the resentments\, stories\, hatred and suffering through forgiveness\, compassion and letting go. This is an excellent daylong for all those who feel energetically stuck in the past and are unable to break free and move forward. This special daylong will include meditation\, talks on themes of the day\, sacred music and a ritual to help us let go. \nRegistration: Registration is required and space is limited. Click here or the link below to register. \nhttp://eastbaymeditation.org/ebmcreg/?event=apr17lettinggo \nCost: There is no registration fee for attending this event\, nor most EBMC events.  However\, EBMC is not independently funded. The Center and the teachers will be sustained only by your voluntary donations (the practice of generous giving\, or “dana”). Please donate generously\, in proportion to your ability: \n* Either online (you will be offered an opportunity during the online registration process)\n* Or at the event\, in the two baskets at EBMC\, one for the Center\, the second for the Teacher \nThank you for your generosity.  EBMC will be only be sustained through our collective generosity. \nFragrance-free: In order to protect the health of community members with environmental illness\, please do not wear fragranced products (including “natural” fragrances) or clothes laundered in fragranced products to EBMC. \n  EBMC is wheelchair accessible.
